Method and system for suggesting revisions to an electronic document

A computer-implemented method for priming a seed database for suggesting revisions to text data, the method comprising:

• obtaining a sample database comprising a plurality of sample original texts and a plurality of sample final texts, wherein each sample original text is associated with a respective sample final text;
• obtaining an input comprising an indication of a user preference;
• determining that one or more of the plurality of sample originals texts and the plurality of sample final texts is consistent with the user preference;
• loading, into the seed database, the determined one or more of the plurality of sample texts and the plurality of sample final texts consistent with the user preference;
• obtaining an electronic document under analysis (DUA);
• and
• determining, using the seed database, an edit operation to apply to the DUA.

A computer implemented method for priming a seed database for suggesting revisions to text data, the method comprising:

• transmitting an indication of a user preference;
• transmitting a first DUA over a network, and,
• receiving a second DUA over the network, the second DUA comprising:
• one or more identified statements-under-analysis (“SUAs”), and
• an indication of a suggested revision to a first SUA of the one or more tokenized SUAs, wherein the suggested revision to the first SUA comprises an application of one or more edit operations consistent with the user preference.

A system for priming a seed database for suggesting revisions to text data, the system comprising:

• a processor;
• a non-transitory computer readable memory coupled to the processor, wherein the processor is configured to:
• obtain a sample database comprising a plurality of sample original texts and a plurality of sample final texts, wherein each sample original text is associated with a respective sample final text;
• obtain an input comprising an indication of a user preference;
• determine that one or more of the plurality of sample originals texts and the plurality of sample final texts is consistent with the user preference;
• load, into the seed database, the determined one or more of the plurality of sample texts and the plurality of sample final texts consistent with the user preference;
• obtain an electronic document under analysis (DUA);
• and
• determine, using the seed database, an edit operation to apply to the DUA.
