Supply mesh platform

A computer-implemented method for bidirectional data transfer within a supply mesh, comprising:

• providing the supply mesh, wherein the supply mesh comprises
• two or more value links, each value link comprising one or more value link features, and
• one or more transitions, wherein each transition connects two value links;
• retrieving, through a distributed ledger, one or more value link features of a first value link;
• determining whether a value link feature of the first value link comprises data indicating the first value link fulfills, at least in part, a user inquiry or business need of a second value link;
• and
• correlating the first value link to the user inquiry or business need.

A computer-implemented method for a decentralized supply mesh platform, comprising:

• providing access, through a distributed ledger, to a first set of data comprising entity data and relationship data;
• retrieving, through the distributed ledger, a second set of data comprising entity data and relationship data, wherein the second set of data comprises data gathered from a plurality of data stores;
• generating a supply mesh based on the first set of data and the second set of data, the supply mesh comprising
• two or more value links based on the entity data of the first and second sets of data, and
• one or more transitions, each transition connecting two value links based on the relationship data of the first and second sets of data;
• and
• forming a business path in the supply mesh, the business path comprising at least two value links connected via a transition.
