Method for managing a cellular radio communications network, a management device, a method to operate a first radio device, a first radio device, a method to operate a second radio device, and a second radio device

A management device for managing a cellular radio communications network, the management device comprising a processor, a memory and a network interface being configured to:

• receive a plurality of numerology capability indications from a plurality of radio devices, wherein a numerology capability indication comprises one or more direct-link block lengths being provided by the respective radio device for communicating via a physical direct-link radio channel;
• receive a plurality of cell indications, wherein the cell indication indicates in which radio cell the respective radio device f is operating;
• determine an instruction message in dependence on the numerology indications of the first and second radio device and in dependence on the cell indication of the first and second radio device;
• and
• transmit the instruction message towards at least one of the first and second radio devices.

A method to operate a first radio device for operating in a cellular radio communications network, the method comprising:

• determining a numerology capability indication, the numerology capability indication comprising one or more direct-link block lengths being provided by the first radio device for communicating via a physical direct-link radio channel;
• transmitting the numerology capability indication via a physical uplink radio channel to a management device;
• determining data to be transmitted to a second radio device;
• receiving an instruction message via a physical downlink radio channel from the management device;
• transmitting the data towards the second radio device in dependence on the instruction message.

A first radio device for operating in a cellular radio communications network, the first radio device comprising a processor, a memory and an antenna being configured to:

• determine a numerology capability indication, the numerology capability indication comprising one or more direct-link block lengths being provided by the first radio device for communicating via a physical direct-link radio channel;
• transmit the numerology capability indication via a physical uplink radio channel to a management device;
• determine data to be transmitted to a second radio device;
• receive an instruction message via a physical downlink radio channel from the management device;
• transmit the data towards the second radio device in dependence on the instruction message.

A method to operate a second radio device for operating in a cellular radio communications network, the method comprising:

• determine a numerology capability indication, the numerology capability indication comprising one or more direct-link block lengths being supported by the second radio device for communicating via a physical direct-link radio channel;
• transmit the numerology capability indication via a physical uplink radio channel to a management device;
• receive an instruction message via a physical downlink radio channel from a management device;
• receive the data from the first radio device in dependence on the instruction message.

A second radio device for operating in a cellular radio communications network, the second radio device comprising a processor, a memory and an antenna being configured to:

• determine a numerology capability indication, the numerology capability indication comprising one or more direct-link block lengths being supported by the second radio device for communicating via a physical direct-link radio channel;
• transmit the numerology capability indication via a physical uplink radio channel to a management device;
• receive an instruction message via a physical downlink radio channel from a management device;
• receive the data from the first radio device in dependence on the instruction message.
