Abstract
A user equipment (UE) receives a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a data transmission, and starts a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip timer (RTT) timer for the data transmission. The HARQ RTT timer is set to a non-negative value associated with a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) addressing the PDCCH.
Claims14
A method for receiving, by a user equipment (UE), downlink signals in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving, by the UE, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a data transmission;
- and
- starting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip timer (RTT) timer for the data transmission,
- wherein the HARQ RTT timer is set to a non-negative value associated with a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) addressing the PDCCH.

A user equipment (UE) for receiving downlink signals in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a radio frequency (RF) unit, and
- a processor configured to control the RF unit, the processor configured to:
- control the RF unit to receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) scheduling a data transmission;
- and
- start a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip timer (RTT) timer for the data transmission,
- wherein the HARQ RTT timer is set to a non-negative value associated with a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) addressing the PDCCH.
