Bit stream management in video communication

A method of establishing a connection comprising:

• encoding a first plurality of frames with a first encoding parameter;
• encoding a second plurality of frames with a second encoding parameter;
• transmitting to a receiver the first plurality of frames and the second plurality of frames frame by frame in an alternate manner between the first plurality of frames and the second plurality of frames;
• receiving a feedback from the receiver after transmitting the first and second plurality of frames;
• and
• selecting one of the first and second encoding parameters based on the feedback.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer-readable instructions executable by one or more processors, that when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• encoding a first plurality of frames with a first encoding parameter;
• encoding a second plurality of frames with a second encoding parameter;
• transmitting to a receiver the first plurality of frames and the second plurality of frames frame by frame in an alternate manner between the first plurality of frames and the second plurality of frames;
• receiving a feedback from the receiver after transmitting the first and second plurality of frames;
• and
• selecting one of the first and second encoding parameters based on the feedback.
