Abstract
A battery cooling device for a vehicle is provided. The battery cooling device generates a continuous phase change of the refrigerant within an entire area of a refrigerant channel having a refrigerant flowing for cooling a battery module to maximize a cooling performance of all battery cells of the battery module, and enable even cooling of the battery cells.

A battery cooling device for a vehicle for cooling a battery module composed of a plurality of battery cells, comprising:
- a refrigerant plate that extends in arranged directions of the plurality of battery cells and includes a refrigerant flowing for cooling the plurality of battery cells;
- and
- a coolant plate disposed to enable heat exchange with the refrigerant plate, and having a coolant flowing for liquefying a refrigerant evaporated by heat produced in the battery cells, wherein the refrigerant plate includes:
- a first plate member disposed to enable heat exchange with the plurality of battery cells;
- a second plate member disposed to enable heat exchange with the coolant plate;
- and
- a refrigerant channel disposed between the first plate member and the second plate member, and having the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant channel.
