Abstract
There is provided a method, and associated computer device, for controlling activation of a software application associated with a web page on closure of the web page, comprising: determining if another linked web page is associated with the software application; and in dependence thereon selectively enabling the software application.

A method of controlling activation of a software application associated with a web page on initiation of closure of the web page, comprising:
- determining if another linked web page is associated with the software application;
- and
- in dependence thereon selectively enabling the software application.
A computing device configured to detect initiation of closure of a web page, and comprising:
- a memory for storing an identity of the at least one web page and a software application associated with the web page;
- a processor configured to detect initiation of closure of the web page, and configured to determine if another web page is linked to the web page and associated with the software application, and for selectively enabling the software application in dependence thereon.
