Abstract
An apparatus including a first section having a first plurality of card slots, a second section having a second plurality of card slots, a middle section disposed between the first section and the second section, and a channel structure in the middle section configured to vent air out of the apparatus.
Claims21
An apparatus, comprising:
- a front section having at least one first card wherein the at least one card is configured to receive ambient air through a face thereof;
- a rear section having at least one second card wherein the at least one second card is configured to receive ambient air through a face thereof;
- a middle section disposed between the front section and the rear section;
- and
- a channel structure within the middle section configured to vent air out of the apparatus.

A chassis apparatus, comprising:
- a first portion of the chassis apparatus configured to draw in air in a first direction;
- a second portion of the chassis apparatus configured to draw in air in a second direction substantially opposite to the first direction;
- and
- a third portion of the chassis apparatus configured to receive the air from the first direction and the second direction and channel the air in a third direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction;
- and
- a curved channel structure disposed in the middle portion, the curved channel structure having perforations to receive air from the front portion and the rear portion.
