Abstract
A method and apparatus for transmitting information for device-to-device (D2D) operation in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection with a network. If the UE has interest to perform D2D operation, the UE transmits D2D information to the network. The D2D information may indicate various pieces of information.
Claims16
A method for operating a base station (BS) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving a message including information which informs that a user equipment (UE) wants to perform a sidelink transmission from the UE;
- and
- transmitting information on a gap related to the sidelink transmission to the UE, in response to the message.
Abase station (BS) in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:
- a memory;
- a radio frequency (RF) unit;
- and
- a processor, operably coupled to the memory and the RF unit, that:
- controls the RF unit to receive a message including information which informs that a user equipment (UE) wants to perform a sidelink transmission from the UE;
- and
- controls the RF unit to transmit information on a gap related to the sidelink transmission to the UE, in response to the message.
