Indicating medium access control (mac)-control element (ce) information

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• a processor,
• memory in electronic communication with the processor;
• and
• instructions stored in the memory and executable by the processor to cause the apparatus to:
• receive, from a wireless device, a packet comprising a set of code block groups (CBGs);
• determine, for the set of CBGs, a decoding configuration that indicates a subset of CBGs which includes one or more medium access control (MAC) sub-protocol data units (subPDUs) within the packet;
• identify the subset of CBGs based at least in part on the determined decoding configuration;
• and
• decode content of the one or more MAC subPDUs based at least in part on identifying the subset of CBGs.

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• means for receiving, from a wireless device, a packet comprising a set of code block groups (CBGs);
• means for determining, for the set of CBGs, a decoding configuration that indicates a subset of CBGs which includes one or more medium access control (MAC) sub-protocol data units (subPDUs) within the packet;
• means for identifying the subset of CBGs based at least in part on the determined decoding configuration;
• and
• means for decoding content of the one or more MAC subPDUs based at least in part on identifying the subset of CBGs.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing code for wireless communication, the code comprising instructions executable by a processor to:

• receive, from a wireless device, a packet comprising a set of code block groups (CBGs);
• determine, for the set of CBGs, a decoding configuration that indicates a subset of CBGs which includes one or more medium access control (MAC) sub-protocol data units (subPDUs) within the packet;
• identify the subset of CBGs based at least in part on the determined decoding configuration;
• and
• decode content of the one or more MAC subPDUs based at least in part on identifying the subset of CBGs.
