A control method of an information processing apparatus that can operate an application on firmware comprising:

• receiving an instruction from a user;
• performing job determination in which whether or not a job is being executed upon receipt of an instruction to enable the application in the receiving;
• and
• activating the application,
• wherein, in the activating, the application is activated after the job ends if it is determined that the job is being executed.

A non-transitory recording medium storing a control program of an information processing apparatus that can operate an application on firmware causing a computer to perform each step of a control method of the information processing apparatus, the method comprising:

• receiving an instruction from a user;
• performing job determination in which whether or not a job is being executed is determined upon receipt of an instruction to enable an application in the receiving;
• and
• activating the application,
• wherein, in the activating, if it is determined that the job is being executed, the application is activated after the job ends.
