Notification timing for electronic devices

An apparatus comprising:

• a memory configured to store instructions at a first device associated with a first user;
• and
• a processor configured to execute the instructions at the first device to initiate a transmission to a second device associated with a second user in response to detecting one or more conditions associated with delaying one or more notifications at a plurality of devices that includes the first device and the second device, the transmission to send a communication to the second device, the communication associated with a timing window during which the one or more notifications are to be delayed, wherein the processor is further configured to delay, during the timing window, generation of a first notification at the first device and to generate, in response to determining expiration of the timing window, the first notification at the first device.

An apparatus comprising:

• means for storing instructions at a first device associated with a first user;
• and
• means for executing the instructions at the first device to initiate a transmission to a second device associated with a second user in response to detecting one or more conditions associated with delaying one or more notifications at a plurality of devices that includes the first device and the second device, the transmission to send a communication to the second device, the communication associated with a timing window during which the one or more notifications are to be delayed, for delaying, during the timing window, generation of a first notification at the first device, and for generating, in response to determining expiration of the timing window, the first notification at the first device.
