Abstract
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for the configuration of beam failure detection reference signals are provided.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- determining, by a user equipment, a quasi co-location source reference signal used for configuring an aperiodic or semi-persistent reference signal;
- and
- including the quasi co-location source reference signal in a set of reference signals to use for radio link monitoring or failure detection if the quasi co-location source reference signal is a periodic reference signal, the user equipment is not explicitly provided with the set of reference signals, and a configured transmission configuration index state for physical downlink control channel refers to the aperiodic or semi-persistent reference signal.
An apparatus comprising:
- at least one processor;
- and
- at least one memory comprising computer program code,
- the at least one memory and computer program code configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus at least to:
- determine, a quasi co-location source reference signal used for configuring an aperiodic or semi-persistent reference signal;
- and
- include the quasi co-location source reference signal in a set of reference signals to use for radio link monitoring or failure detection if the quasi co-location source reference signal is a periodic reference signal, the apparatus is not explicitly provided with the set of reference signals, and a configured transmission configuration index state for physical downlink control channel refers to the aperiodic or semi-persistent reference signal.
4 more elements
A computer program product comprising at least one computer-readable storage medium having executable computer-readable program code portions stored therein, the computer-readable program code portions comprising:
- a first program code portion configured to determine a quasi co-location source reference signal used for configuring an aperiodic or semi-persistent reference signal;
- and
- a second program code portion configured to include the quasi co-location source reference signal in a set of reference signals to use for radio link monitoring or failure detection if the quasi co-location source reference signal is a periodic reference signal, the computer program product is not explicitly provided with the set of reference signals, and a configured transmission configuration index state for physical downlink control channel refers to the aperiodic or semi-persistent reference signal.
