Projection apparatus, control method, and non-transitory storage medium

A method for controlling a projection apparatus among a plurality of projection apparatuses configured to project a plurality of projection images side by side as a single image, the projection apparatus including a light emission unit and a modulation unit, the method comprising:

• controlling the light emission unit to emit a light amount based on brightness of a first image;
• and
• controlling the modulation unit to modulate light emitted from the light emission unit based on the first image and project an image onto a projection plane,
• wherein the light amount of the light emission unit is controlled in the light emission control based on the brightness of a first region of the first image, the first region adjoining a second image projected by another projection apparatus.

A non-transitory storage medium storing a program for a processor to perform a method for controlling a projection apparatus among a plurality of projection apparatuses configured to project a plurality of projection images side by side as a single image, the projection apparatus including a light emission unit and a modulation unit, the method comprising:

• controlling the light emission unit to emit a light amount based on brightness of a first image;
• and
• controlling the modulation unit to module light emitted from the light emission unit based on the first image and project an image on a projection plane,
• wherein the light amount of the light emission unit is controlled in the light emission control based on the brightness of a first region of the first image, the first region adjoining a second image projected by another projection apparatus.
