A joint configured to be connected to a pipe for providing a conduit through a wall for the contents of the pipe, the joint comprising an inner joint section defining a bore through the joint; an outer joint section, configured to be connected to the wall; and, an intermediate joint section that connects the inner joint section to the outer joint section and has a lower stiffness than the inner joint section and the outer joint section.

A joint configured to be connected to a pipe for providing a conduit through a wall for the contents of the pipe, the joint comprising:
- an inner joint section defining a bore through the joint;
- an outer joint section, configured to be connected to the wall;
- and,
- an intermediate joint section that connects the inner joint section to the outer joint section and has a lower stiffness than the inner joint section and the outer joint section.
