Laundry basket

A laundry basket for holding and transporting laundry, said laundry basket comprising;

• a body having a pair of halves extending into one another and are adjusted between an initial position and an adjusted position;
• each half includes side walls, a rear wall, a front wall, and a bottom.
• a mechanical connection defined between said pair of halves, said mechanical connection including said side walls of one of said halves defining internal channels extending to respective keyways and inserting walls terminating to key portions, said inserting walls extending from side walls of another of said halves, said inserting walls slidably movable inside said internal channels with said respective keyways acting as stoppers to prevent said key portions to escape from said internal channel thereby allowing one of said halves to extend to and from the other of said halves at various distances to selectively separate said laundry basket between several positions wherein one position separates said laundry basket into two parts and a second position where said laundry basket is separated into two sections with one section being smaller than the second section and a third position wherein one of said section is divided into four sections.
