Abstract
Provided are a rubber composition for tires that provides improved silica dispersion and fuel economy while maintaining good hardness, and a pneumatic tire including the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires, containing: a rubber component; silica; and at least one silica dispersing agent selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the following formula (I) and compounds represented by the following formula (II):

A rubber composition for tires, comprising:
- a rubber component;
- silica;
- and
- at least one silica dispersing agent selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the following formula (I) and compounds represented by the following formula (II):
- wherein R1 represents a hydrocarbon group;
- R2 to R4 are the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, or the group -(AO)n—H wherein n represents an integer, and each n for R2 to R4 may be the same or different;
- and x represents an integer, and
- wherein R11 represents a hydrocarbon group;
- R12 to R15 are the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, or the group -(AO)n—H wherein n represents an integer, and each n for R12 to R15 may be the same or different;
- and y and z are the same or different and each represent an integer.
