Abstract
The present invention relates to, in part, compositions comprising improved flagellin derived constructs and methods of using for vaccination, including adjuvants comprising flagellin-based agents.
Claims33
A vaccine composition, comprising
- (a) an adjuvant comprising a flagellin-based agent, or variants thereof having TLR5 agonist activity and an aluminum gel or salt and
- (b) an antigen.
A method of vaccinating a subject against a disorder, comprising administering an effective amount of a vaccine comprising:
- (a) an adjuvant comprising a flagellin-based agent, or variants thereof having TLR5 agonist activity and an aluminum gel or salt and
- (b) an antigen associated with the disorder.
A method of immunostimulating a subject in advance of or concurrent with vaccination, comprising administering an effective amount of an adjuvant comprising a flagellin-based agent, or variants thereof having TLR5 agonist activity and an aluminum gel or salt, wherein both TH1 and TH2-mediated immune responses are immunostimulated.
