Flexible Battery

A flexible battery comprising:

• a borophene sheet;
• an elastic sheet attached to the borophene sheet;
• a pyroelectric peptide microtubule, wherein a first end of the pyroelectric peptide microtubule is located adjacent to the elastic sheet;
• a borophene cap located at a second end of the pyroelectric peptide microtubule, wherein the borophene cap collects a charge created by the pyroelectric peptide microtubule, and wherein the charge is directed to a borophene capacitor;
• and
• an insulating ring located at the second end of the pyroelectric peptide microtubule, wherein the insulating ring is configured to reduce leakage of the charge from the pyroelectric peptide microtubule.

A method comprising:

• connecting, by a flexible battery manufacturing device, a first side of a borophene sheet to an elastic sheet, wherein the borophene sheet has a thickness of one atom;
• connecting, by the flexible battery manufacturing device, a first end of a pyroelectric peptide microtubule to a second side of the borophene sheet;
• and
• connecting, by the flexible battery manufacturing device, a borophene cap to a second end of the pyroelectric peptide microtubule, wherein the borophene cap collects a charge generated by the pyroelectric peptide microtubule, wherein the charge is directed to a borophene capacitor.
