Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for introducing a polynucleotide into non-adhesively growing plant cells, comprising the following steps: providing a solid support having immobilized thereto the polynucleotide in dry state; contacting the plant cells with the polynucleotide on the solid support so as to obtain transformed plant cells; and optionally washing the plant cells.
Claims20
A method for analyzing non-adhesively growing plant cells, comprising the following steps:
- i. providing a culture of non-adhesively growing plant cells;
- ii. arranging the non-adhesively growing plant cells in a monolayer;
- iii. immobilizing the non-adhesively growing plant cells in the monolayer;
- and
- iv. detecting at least one parameter by microscopic analysis comprising automated image acquisition and automated image analysis.
