Electronic device for connecting with external devices based on connection information and operating method thereof

An external device, comprising:

• a communication interface;
• a processor;
• and
• a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
• connect with an electronic device through the communication interface;
• receive group device information of the external device from an electronic device through the communication interface;
• and
• refine information about a group device of the external device based on the received group device information.

A method for operating in an electronic device, the method comprising:

• connecting with a first external device;
• attempting a connection with a second external device based at least on group device information of the first external device;
• connecting with a third external device based at least on a failure to connect with the second external device;
• and
• refining the group device information of the first external device based at least on information of the connected third external device.
