Method of transmitting and receiving downlink signal in wireless communication system and apparatus therefor

A communication device for receiving a downlink signal in a wireless communication system, the communication device comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• at least one processor operably coupled to the memory and configured to:
• process received information on a plurality of aperiodic zero-power channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resources;
• process a received downlink control information (DCI) including a physical downlink shared channel resource element mapping indicator (PDSCH RE mapping indicator or PRI) field used for informing one of the plurality of aperiodic zero-power CSI-RS resources;
• and
• process a received physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled by the DCI via first resource elements (REs) in a subframe,
• wherein the first REs are determined based on the information on the plurality of aperiodic zero-power CSI-RS resources and the PRI field,
• wherein the information on the plurality of aperiodic zero-power CSI-RS resources is received via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, and
• wherein the DCI is received via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in the subframe.

A base station (BS) for transmitting downlink signals in a wireless communication system, the BS comprising:

• a transmitter;
• and
• at least one processor operably coupled to the transmitter and configured to:
• control the transmitter to transmit information on a plurality of aperiodic zero-power channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resources;
• control the transmitter to transmit a downlink control information (DCI) including a physical downlink shared channel resource element mapping indicator (PDSCH RE mapping indicator or PRI) field used for informing one of the plurality of aperiodic zero-power CSI-RS resources;
• and
• control the transmitter to transmit a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled by the DCI via first resource elements (REs) in a subframe,
• wherein the first REs are determined based on the information on the plurality of aperiodic zero-power CSI-RS resources and the PRI field,
• wherein the information on the plurality of aperiodic zero-power CSI-RS resources is transmitted via radio resource control (RRC) signaling, and
• wherein the DCI is transmitted via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in the subframe.
