Abstract
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes: a transceiver configured to receive, from at least one wearable device, information indicating whether the at least one wearable device is being worn; and a processor configured to determine whether the at least one wearable device that is being worn, based on the received information indicating whether the at least one wearable device is being worn, and to provide a notification to the at least one wearable device in response to determining that the at least one wearable device is being worn.

An electronic device comprising:
- a communication device configured to communicate with at least one wearable device;
- a processor configured to:
- detect a notification event in the electronic device;
- determine whether to provide a notification for the notification event at least based on whether the electronic device is in a do-not-disturb mode;
- based on the electronic device in the do-not-disturb mode, skip the notification through the electronic device;
- based on the notification through the electronic device skipped, determine whether to provide the notification through the at least one wearable device.
A method of providing a notification in an electronic device comprising:
- detecting a notification event in the electronic device;
- determining whether to provide a notification for the notification event at least based on whether the electronic device is in a do-not-disturb mode;
- based on the electronic device in the do-not-disturb mode, skipping the notification through the electronic device;
- based on the notification through the electronic device skipped, determining whether to provide the notification through the at least one wearable device.
A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising computer executable instructions that are executable to perform a method of providing a notification in an electronic device, the method comprising:
- detecting a notification event in the electronic device;
- determining whether to provide a notification for the notification event at least based on whether the electronic device is in a do-not-disturb mode;
- based on the electronic device in the do-not-disturb mode, skipping the notification through the electronic device;
- based on the notification through the electronic device skipped, determining whether to provide the notification through the at least one wearable device.
