The electronic device includes a secure element (SE) comprising circuitry and including an applet configured to provide a service using near field communication (NFC), an NFC circuit configured to provide NFC with a first external electronic device, a memory, and a processor electrically connected with the NFC circuit and the memory. The NFC circuit includes a monitoring circuit configured to analyze a first signal received from the applet. The monitoring circuit is configured to deliver a second signal corresponding to processing completion for a specified function included in the service, based on a result of analyzing the first signal.
