Abstract
An information processing apparatus includes a display screen and a display controller. The display screen displays a first message corresponding to a first event occurring in the information processing apparatus. The display controller controls, in a case where a second event occurs while the first message is being displayed on the display screen, a display mode of a second message corresponding to the second event, based on a relationship between the first event and the second event.

An information processing apparatus comprising:
- a display screen configured to display a plurality of messages corresponding to events occurring in the information processing apparatus;
- and
- a display controller that controls, in a case where a first event occurs in the information processing apparatus when a user is using the information processing apparatus, whether or not to display a first message corresponding to the first event based on a usage situation of the information processing apparatus by the user.
