Systems and methods for automated accident analysis

A system for automatic accident analysis, comprising:

• an electronic processing device;
• a wireless transceiver device in communication with the electronic processing device;
• and
• a non-transitory memory device in communication with the electronic processing device and storing (i) accident identification rules, (ii) accident response rules, (iii) accident analysis rules, and (iv) instructions that when executed by the electronic processing device result in:
• receiving first input indicative of an accident event;
• identifying, based on an application of the accident identification rules to the received first input, that an accident has occurred;
• initiating, based on an application of the accident response rules, an accident response plan;
• capturing, automatically and based on an application of the accident analysis rules, sensor data associated with at least one electronic device involved in the accident;
• generating, based on the captured sensor data and the accident analysis rules, a virtual accident scene;
• calculating, based on the virtual accident scene and the accident analysis rules, an accident result;
• and
• transmitting, via the wireless transceiver device and to a remote electronic device, an indication of the calculated accident result.
