A user terminal comprising:

• a receiving section that receives a downlink (DL) shared channel that is scheduled by a downlink (DL) control channel;
• and
• a control section that, when the DL shared channel overlaps a candidate resource for the DL control channel, assumes that the DL shared channel is not mapped to the overlapping candidate resource in which the DL control channel is detected.

A radio communication method for a user terminal, comprising:

• receiving a downlink (DL) shared channel that is scheduled by a DL control channel;
• and
• when the DL shared channel overlaps a candidate resource for the DL control channel, assuming that the DL shared channel is not mapped to the overlapping candidate resource in which the DL control channel is detected.
