Abstract
A station (STA) may include an antenna and a processor operatively coupled to the antenna. The processor and the antenna may be configured to send, to an access point (AP), a first message including an indication of one or more secondary channels in an operating band. The operating band may include a primary channel and the one or more secondary channels. The processor and the antenna may be further configured to receive, from the AP, a second message including an indication of a channel of the one or more secondary channels to use in a scheduled transmission period.
Claims21
A station (STA) comprising:
- an antenna;
- and
- a processor operatively coupled to the antenna;
- the processor and the antenna configured to send, to an access point (AP), a first message comprising an indication of one or more secondary channels in an operating band, wherein the operating band comprises a primary channel and the one or more secondary channels;
- and
- the processor and the antenna further configured to receive, from the AP, a second message comprising an indication of a channel of the one or more secondary channels to use in a scheduled transmission period.
A method for use in a station (STA), the method comprising:
- sending, to an access point (AP), a first message comprising an indication of one or more secondary channels in an operating band, wherein the operating band comprises a primary channel and the one or more secondary channels;
- and
- receiving, from the AP, a second message comprising an indication of a channel of the one or more secondary channels to use in a scheduled transmission period.
An access point (AP) comprising:
- an antenna;
- and
- a processor operatively coupled to the antenna;
- the processor and the antenna configured to receive, from a station (STA), a first message comprising an indication of one or more secondary channels in an operating band, wherein the operating band comprises a primary channel and the one or more secondary channels;
- and
- the processor and the antenna further configured to send, to the STA, a second message comprising an indication of a channel of the one or more secondary channels to use in a scheduled transmission period.
