Service transmission method, device, and system

A first base station, comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a transceiver coupled with the processor and configured to:
• send a request message to a second base station, wherein the request message comprises configuration information comprising information of a radio bearer (RB) and information indicating that a service transmitted by the first base station to a terminal device and a service transmitted by the second base station to the terminal device are the same, wherein the first base station establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the terminal device, and the second base station is a serving base station of the terminal device,
• in response to the request message, receive, from the second base station, a response message,
• in response to the response message, send a configuration message to the terminal device, wherein the configuration message comprises a configuration list information comprising information of the RB for use by the terminal device to configure the RB, and
• send data of the service of the terminal device to the second base station for use by the second base station to send the data to the terminal device, and send the data of the service of the terminal device to the terminal device.

A communication system, comprising a first base station and a second base station, wherein

• the first base station is configured to:
• send a request message to a second base station, wherein the request message comprises configuration information comprising configuration of a radio bearer (RB) and information indicating that a service transmitted by the first base station to a terminal device and a service transmitted by the second base station to the terminal device are the same, wherein the first base station establishes a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the terminal device, and the second base station is a serving base station of the terminal device,
• in response to the request message, receive, from the second base station, a response message,
• in response to the response message, send a configuration message to the terminal device, wherein the configuration message comprises a configuration list information comprising information of the RB for use by the terminal device to configure the RB, and
• send data of the service of the terminal device to the second base station for use by the second base station to send the data to the terminal device, and send the data of the service of the terminal device to the terminal device;
• and
• wherein the second base station is configured to:
• receive the request message from the first base station;
• send the response message to the first base station, and
• establish the RB for the service based on the configuration of the RB.
