Abstract
A HARQ frame data structure and methods of transmitting and receiving with HARQ in systems using blind detection. In one embodiment, a method of transmitting over a channel using HARQ includes transmitting a first frame containing data toward a blind detection receiver, and transmitting a second frame containing at least a portion of the data and information about the first frame toward the blind detection receiver.
Claims20
A method for wireless communication, comprising:
- transmitting a first frame containing first data to a receiver;
- and
- transmitting a second frame, the second frame containing at least a portion of the first data, the transmitting of the second frame being caused by receipt of a negative acknowledgement for the first frame before a timer expires.
A wireless device comprising:
- a transmitter;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- transmit a first frame containing first data to a receiver;
- and
- transmit a second frame, the second frame containing at least a portion of the first data, the transmitting of the second frame being caused by receipt of a negative acknowledgement for the first frame before a timer expires.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by a wireless device, cause the wireless device to perform operations, the operations comprising:
- transmitting a first frame containing first data to a receiver;
- and
- transmitting a second frame, the second frame containing at least a portion of the first data, the transmitting of the second frame being caused by receipt of a negative acknowledgement for the first frame before a timer expires.
