Abstract
A video stream control method, system, and a computer program product include analyzing a video stream to identify a section of the video stream where a condition will occur, delivering a notification that the condition will occur in the section of the video stream and modifying the video stream before the section of the video stream is played, and selecting a type of delivery of the section of the video stream based on a set of rules factoring the condition and user data at a time of the notification.

A video stream control system, the system comprising:
- a video stream analyzing circuit configured to identify a section of a video stream where an adverse condition will occur;
- a notification delivering circuit configured to modify the video stream and to deliver a notification that the adverse condition will occur in the section of the video stream before the section of the video stream is played;
- and
- a selecting circuit configured to select a type of delivery of the section of the video stream that includes a modified version of the section omitting the adverse condition based on a set of rules factoring the adverse condition and user data at a time of the notification.
A computer-implemented video stream control method, comprising:
- analyzing a video stream to identify a section of the video stream where an adverse condition will occur;
- delivering a notification that the adverse condition will occur in the section of the video stream and modifying the video stream before the section of the video stream is played;
- and
- selecting a type of delivery of the section of the video stream that includes a modified version of the section omitting the adverse condition based on a set of rules factoring the adverse condition and user data at a time of the notification.
A computer program product for video stream control, the computer program product comprising a computer readable storage medium having program instructions embodied therewith, the program instructions executable by a computer to cause the computer to perform:
- analyzing a video stream to identify a section of the video stream where an adverse condition will occur,
- delivering a notification that the adverse condition will occur in the section of the video stream and modifying the video stream before the section of the video stream is played;
- and
- selecting a type of delivery of the section of the video stream that includes a modified version of the section omitting the adverse condition based on a set of rules factoring the adverse condition and user data at a time of the notification.
