Abstract
An approach is disclosed that has a merchant receive a purchase request that includes a purchase amount. The merchant creates a payment template that includes the purchase amount and the merchant's bank account information. The payment template is provided the customer, and then the merchant receives a completion notification of the purchase request from a trusted third party, such as the merchant's financial institution.
Claims20
A method, implemented by an information handling system that includes a processor and a memory accessible by the processor, the method comprising:
- receiving, at a merchant, a purchase request that includes a purchase amount;
- creating a payment template that includes the purchase amount and one or more merchant bank account identifiers;
- providing the payment template to a customer;
- and
- receiving, at the merchant, a notification of a completion of the purchase request from a trusted third party.
An information handling system comprising:
- one or more processors;
- a memory coupled to at least one of the processors;
- and
- a set of instructions stored in the memory and executed by at least one of the processors to perform actions comprising:
- receiving, at a merchant, a purchase request that includes a purchase amount;
- creating a payment template that includes the purchase amount and one or more merchant bank account identifiers;
- providing the payment template to a customer;
- and
- receiving, at the merchant, a notification of a completion of the purchase request from a trusted third party.
A computer program product comprising:
- a computer readable storage medium comprising a set of computer instructions, the computer instructions effective to perform actions comprising:
- receiving, at a merchant, a purchase request that includes a purchase amount;
- creating a payment template that includes the purchase amount and one or more merchant bank account identifiers;
- providing the payment template to a customer;
- and
- receiving, at the merchant, a notification of a completion of the purchase request from a trusted third party.
