Addressable image object

A device, comprising:

• a processing system including a processor;
• and
• a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:
• analyzing media content to recognize an object therein, wherein the media content is provided as a video stream displayed to a user of a communication device, the media content comprising a plurality of digital frames transported to the communication device;
• associating product information of a product with the object;
• receiving a user input selecting the object;
• determining providers of goods or services of who can provide the product, wherein the providers of the goods or services are selected during the determining based on a proximity of the providers of the goods or services to the user of the communication device;
• and
• providing the product information to the communication device.

A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processing system including a processor, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:

• analyzing media content to recognize an object therein, wherein the media content is provided as a video stream displayed to a user of a communication device, the media content comprising a plurality of digital frames sent to the communication device over a private network;
• identifying a product from the object;
• receiving a user input selecting the object on a screen of the communication device;
• determining a location of the communication device;
• and
• providing a list of providers of goods or services of the product to the communication device based on an ability of the providers of the goods or services to deliver the goods or services to the location of the communication device in a timely fashion.
