Interactive Music Feedback System

A user device comprising:

• at least one memory comprising instructions;
• and
• at least one processing unit configured for executing the instructions, wherein executing the instructions cause the at least one processing unit to perform the operations of:
• presenting, by a graphical processing unit (GPU) of the at least one processing unit, a user interface at the user device, wherein the user interface enables a user to control playback of audio content, and wherein the user interface comprises a feedback button that enables the user to indicate at least one of a like and a dislike with respect to the audio content;
• receiving, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a first user input, wherein the first user input comprises a user selection of the feedback button via the user interface;
• identifying, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a point in time during playback of the audio content at which the first user input is received;
• generating, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a timestamp associated with the point in time at which the first user input is received;
• presenting, by a GPU of the at least one processing unit, a feedback interface at the user device, wherein the feedback interface comprises an instrument button associated with an instrument of the audio content;
• receiving, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a second user input, wherein the second user input comprises a user selection of the instrument button;
• identifying, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, the instrument associated with the instrument button;
• determining, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a value associated with the instrument;
• and
• transmitting, by a communication unit of the user device, the timestamp and the value to a second user device.

A non-transitory computer readable medium of a user device comprising code, wherein the code, when executed by at least one processing unit of the user device, causes the at least one processing unit to perform the operations of:

• presenting, by a graphical processing unit (GPU) of the at least one processing unit, a user interface at the user device, wherein the user interface enables a user to control playback of audio content, and wherein the user interface comprises a feedback button that enables the user to indicate at least one of a like and a dislike with respect to the audio content;
• receiving, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a first user input, wherein the first user input comprises a user selection of the feedback button via the user interface;
• identifying, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a point in time during playback of the audio content at which the first user input is received;
• generating, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a timestamp associated with the point in time at which the first user input is received;
• presenting, by a GPU of the at least one processing unit, a feedback interface at the user device, wherein the feedback interface comprises an instrument button associated with an instrument of the audio content;
• receiving, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a second user input, wherein the second user input comprises a user selection of the instrument button;
• identifying, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, the instrument associated with the instrument button;
• determining, by a selection unit of the at least one processing unit, a value associated with the instrument;
• and
• transmitting, by a communication unit of the user device, the timestamp and the value to a second user device.
