Automatic network configuration of a pre-configured hyper-converged computing device

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having instructions embodied therein that when executed cause a computer system to perform a method for automatic network configuration of a pre-configured hyper-converged computing device, said method comprising:

• authenticating said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device, wherein said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device includes software to support a virtualization infrastructure, said software being proprietary software of a single entity;
• accessing network configuration information from another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device;
• and
• automatically performing network configuration by said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device without requiring user input such that said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device is automatically configured to said network.

A computer-implemented method for automatic network configuration of a pre-configured hyper-converged computing device, comprising:

• requesting network configuration information from another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device already configured on a network, wherein said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device includes software to support a virtualization infrastructure, said software being proprietary software of a single entity said software comprising:
• a hypervisor;
• a storage block;
• and
• a graphical user interface (GUI;
• receiving said network configuration information from said another pre-configured hyper-converged computing device;
• automatically performing network configuration by said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device such that said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device is automatically configured to said network;
• and
• providing an end-user with a single end-user license agreement (EULA) pertaining to said software, said single EULA pertaining to both said software and hardware of said pre-configured hyper-converged computing device.
