Abstract
A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate having a plurality of pixel regions; thin film transistors on the first substrate; a first electrode electrically connected to each of the thin film transistors and in each of the plurality of pixel regions; a passivation layer on the first electrode; a second electrode on the passivation layer and defining an opening in each of the plurality of pixel regions corresponding to the first electrode; a liquid crystal layer on the second electrode; and a second substrate on the liquid crystal layer.
Claims9
A liquid crystal display device, comprising:
- a first substrate including a plurality of pixel regions;
- thin film transistors on the first substrate;
- a first electrode electrically connected to each of the thin film transistors and in each of the plurality of pixel regions;
- a passivation layer on the first electrode;
- a second electrode on the passivation layer and defining an opening in each of the plurality of pixel regions corresponding to the first electrode;
- a liquid crystal layer on the second electrode;
- and
- a second substrate on the liquid crystal layer.
