Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for image projection, such as in a computer-mediated reality system, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed to a computer-mediated reality system that is able to create an eyebox array for viewing images or sequences of images (e.g. video), the eyebox array created by reflecting projected images with a field imaging display. In some embodiments, the computer-mediated reality system may include a wearable frame, such as eyeglasses, to enable a user to utilize the computer-mediated reality system. For instance, the wearable frame may position the field imaging display such that different eyeboxes in the eyebox array come into focus as the user shifts their eyes between different directions of gaze.
