Abstract

A planetary gear train apparatus of automatic transmission may include input and output shafts first to fifth planetary gear sets respectively having first to third, fourth to sixth, seventh to ninth, tenth to twelfth, and thirteenth to fifteenth elements, first shaft fixed to the third element and the input shaft, second shaft fixed to the fourteenth element and the output shaft, third shaft fixed to the first and fourth elements, fourth shaft fixed to the second, eighth, and fifteenth elements, fifth shaft fixed to the fifth element, sixth shaft fixed to the sixth, ninth element, and eleventh elements, and shafts, each of which is selectively connectable to housing and fixed to element of the third, fourth, and fifth planetary gear sets which is not fixed to the first to sixth shafts.

Dependent claims

A planetary gear train apparatus of an automatic transmission for a vehicle, the apparatus comprising:

an input shaft receiving an input torque;
an output shaft outputting a shifted torque;
a first planetary gear set having a first rotation element, a second rotation element, and a third rotation element;
a second planetary gear set having a fourth rotation element, a fifth rotation element, and a sixth rotation element;
a third planetary gear set having a seventh rotation element, an eighth rotation element, and a ninth rotation element;
a fourth planetary gear set having a tenth rotation element, an eleventh rotation element, and a twelfth rotation element;
a fifth planetary gear set having a thirteenth rotation element, a fourteenth rotation element, and a fifteenth rotation element;
a first shaft fixedly connected to the third rotation element and the input shaft;
a second shaft fixedly connected to the fourteenth rotation element and the output shaft;
a third shaft fixedly connected to the first rotation element and the fourth rotation element;
a fourth shaft fixedly connected to the second rotation element, the eighth rotation element, and the fifteenth rotation element;
a fifth shaft fixedly connected to the fifth rotation element;
a sixth shaft fixedly connected to the sixth rotation element, the ninth rotation element, and the eleventh rotation element;
and
a plurality of shafts, each of which is selectively connectable to a transmission housing and fixedly connected to a rotation element of the third, fourth, and fifth planetary gear sets which is not fixedly connected to the first to sixth shafts.

the thirteenth rotation element is selectively connectable to the transmission housing.
