Abstract
The present invention provides a method for efficiently producing 1-chloro-1,2-difluoroethylene at low cost. Specifically, the present invention provides a method for producing 1-chloro-1,2-difluoroethylene, including the step of dehydrohalogenating chlorofluoroethane represented by formula (1) CFClX1—CHFX2 wherein X1 and X2 are different from each other and represent H, F, or Cl; and either X1 or X2 is H.

A method for producing 1-chloro-1,2-difluoroethylene, the method comprising the step of
- dehydrohalogenating a chlorofluoroethane represented by formula (1) CFClX1—CHFX2 wherein X1 and X2 are different from each other and represent H, F, or Cl;
- and either X1 or X2 is H.
A method for producing 1-chloro-1,2-difluoroethylene, the method comprising the steps of
- reducing a chlorotrifluoroethylene and/or 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane to generate a chlorotrifluoroethane represented by formula (2) CFClX3—CHFX4 wherein X3 and X4 are different from each other and represent H or F, and
- dehydrofluorinating the chlorotrifluoroethane obtained in the previous step.
