Abstract
The present invention provides compositions and methods of reducing cyanuric acid levels in recreational water systems.
Claims16
A method for increasing clarity of water in a recreational water system, the method comprising contacting the water with a composition that includes:
- (a) a mixture of Bacillus species comprising Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, and Bacillus pumilus, wherein the mixture of Bacillus species has a bacterial concentration of at least 1×106 colony forming units (CFU) per gram of the mixture, and
- (b) a mixture of Lactobacillus species comprising Pediococcus acidilactici, Pediococcus pentosaceus, and Lactobacillus plantarum, wherein the mixture of Lactobacillus species has a bacterial concentration of at least 1×106 CFU per gram of the mixture.
