Abstract
It is proposed to carry out an optical inspection of preforms (7) by means of at least one camera device (2, 3, 13), in such a way that the preforms (7) are in a relative position to each other that is unchanged in comparison with the injection molding operation.

Method for optical inspection of hollow bodies, in particular preforms, by means of at least one camera device, wherein the hollow bodies, in particular preforms, are examined in an unchanged relative position to each other with respect to an injection molding operation.
