Abstract
The present invention relates to therapeutic conjugates with improved ability to target various diseased cells containing a targeting moiety (such as an antibody or antibody fragment), a linker and a therapeutic moiety, and further relates to processes for making and using the conjugates.
Claims23
A method for treating an autoimmune disease comprising administering to an individual with an autoimmune disease an immunoconjugate having a structural formula MAb-linker-SN-38, wherein the linker-SN-38 has a structure represented by:
- wherein n is between 1 and 30;
- AA is an L-amino acid residue selected from the group consisting of alanine, arginine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamine, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tryptophan, tyrosine, and valine;
- and MAb is an IgG antibody or antigen-binding antibody fragment that binds to a B-cell antigen.
