Abstract
The present application discloses a method for treating microbial infection using an antimicrobial composition comprises antimicrobial peptide which contains at least one VGFPV motif.

A method of treating a microbial infection, comprising:
- administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of an antimicrobial peptide comprising a first antimicrobial domain comprising at least two VGVSV (SEQ ID NO:2) motifs.

A pharmaceutical composition for treating microbial infection, comprising:
- (1) an antimicrobial peptide comprising a first antimicrobial domain comprising two VGVSV (SEQ ID NO:2) motifs, and a cell penetrating peptide (CPP) domain and/or a targeting domain;

- (2) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
