Abstract
The present invention relates to a biologically pure culture comprising an isolated Duddingtonia flagrans (D. flagrans) strain IAH 1297 deposited at the National Measurement Institute, 1/153 Bertie Street Port Melbourne, Victoria 3207, Australia on 2 Aug. 2016 (accession number V16/019156) and/or a spore of said isolated D. fiagrans strain, a composition comprising the same, methods and uses thereof.
Claims42
A composition comprising:
- (a) a biologically pure isolate of the micro-organism Duddingtonia flagrans (D. flagrans) having all of the identifying characteristics of the strain deposited under Accession No. V16/019156 at National Measurement Institute, 1/153 Bertie Street, Port Melbourne, Victoria 3207, Australia referred to herein as “IAH 1297”;
- and
- (b) one or more of an excipient, carrier, and/or feed ingredient.

A composition comprising (a) an isolated D. flagrans strain and/or a spore of said isolated D. flagrans strain and (b) one or more of an excipient, carrier, and/or feed ingredient, wherein preferably the spore is a chlamydospore, wherein said composition interrupts the life-cycle of a parasitic nematode, controls the spread of the nematode to a grazing animal and is suitable for commercial application.
