Abstract
Pharmaceutical compositions are disclosed that includes a therapeutically effective amount of a purified viable Gram negative bacteria and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The pharmaceutical compositions are formulated for topical administration. Methods of treating atopic dermatitis using these pharmaceutical compositions are also disclosed.
Claims18
A kit for treatment of atopic dermatitis, comprising:
- a) a first container comprising a pharmaceutical composition, wherein the pharmaceutical composition comprises:
- a therapeutically effective amount of at least one strain of Roseomonas mucosa, wherein said strain of Roseomonas mucosa comprises a nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, SEQ ID NO:
- 2, and SEQ ID NO:
- 3;
- and
- b) instructions for applying the therapeutically effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition to skin of a subject in need thereof.
