A method of preparing a compound of formula (iv),
- the method comprising contacting a compound of formula (iii),
- with R1NH2 in the presence of a base or a Lewis acid, in a solvent,
- wherein R1 is substituted or unsubstituted C1-8 alkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted saturated cycloalkyl;
- and
- R2 is substituted or unsubstituted C1-8 alkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl.

A method of purifying a compound of formula (iv),
- the method comprising 1) dissolving the compound of formula (iv) in a first solvent at a first temperature;
- 2) adding a second solvent into the resulting solution;
- 3) cooling the solution to a second temperature;
- and 4) collecting a solid,
- wherein R1 is substituted or unsubstituted C1-8 alkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl;
- and
- R2 is substituted or unsubstituted C1-8 alkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl.
