Imaging apparatus and imaging system

An imaging system comprising:

• and one or more imaging apparatuses connected to a network;
• and a controller apparatus,
• each of the imaging apparatuses comprising:
• an imaging element;
• a filter configured to have at least a characteristic of transmitting a visible light wavelength range and an infrared light wavelength range, and filter a signal from the imaging element based on the characteristic;
• a signal processor configured to process the signal filtered by the filter to output a visible light signal and an infrared light signal;
• a moving-object region extractor configured to generate, from the infrared signal outputted from the signal processor, information on a moving object in an image photographed by the imaging element;
• and
• a signal output controller configured to add a second data to a first data or multiple the first data by the second data to transmit the added or multiplied first and second data outside, the first data being based on the visible light signal outputted from the signal processor, the second data being based on information on the moving object generated by the moving-object region extractor, and
• the controller apparatus comprising:
• a face authentication unit configured to cut a portion from the first data out of the first and second data received from the imaging apparatus and to perform face authentication to the portion, the portion corresponding to a moving region that is indicated by the second data.

An imaging apparatus comprising:

• two imaging elements;
• two filters configured to have at least a characteristic of transmitting a visible light wavelength region and an infrared wavelength region and filter each of signals from the two imaging elements based on the characteristic;
• two signal processors configured to process the signals filtered by the two filters and output a visible light signal and an infrared light signal;
• a distance calculator configured to use two visible light signals or two infrared light signals outputted by the two signal processors to calculate a distance to a to-be-photographed subject;
• and
• a signal output controller configured to add a second data to a first data or multiply the first data by the second data to transmit the added or multiplied first and second data outside, the first data being based on the visible light signals outputted from the signal processors, the second data being based on a distance image generated by the distance calculator.

An imaging system comprising:

• one or more imaging apparatuses connected to a network;
• and a controller apparatus,
• the imaging apparatus comprising:
• two imaging elements;
• two filters configured to have at least a characteristic of transmitting a visible light wavelength region and an infrared light wavelength region and filter each of signals from the two imaging elements based on the characteristic;
• two signal processor configured to proceed the signals filtered by the two filters and output a visible light signal and an infrared light signal;
• a distance calculator configured to use two visible light signals or two infrared light signals outputted by the two signal processors to calculate a distance to a to-be-photographed subject;
• and
• a signal output controller configured to add a second data to a first data or multiply the first data by the second data to transmit the added or multiplied first and second data outside, the first data being based on the visible light signals outputted from the signal processors, the second data being based on a distance image generated by the distance calculator, and
• the controller apparatus comprising:
• a face authentication unit configured to use the first and second data received from the imaging apparatus to perform face authentication that uses three-dimensional information.
