Method and forming apparatus for making a curved electrochromic film

A forming apparatus for forming a flat electrochromic film semi-product into a curved electrochromic film, comprising

• a base adapted for placement of the electrochromic film semi-product;
• and
• a bending unit disposed on said base and including a first bending member and a second bending member that is spaced apart from said first bending member so as to allow the electrochromic film semi-product to lie on said base and between said first and second bending members,
• wherein said first bending member is reciprocally movable toward and away from said second bending member along directions that are parallel to a direction in which the electrochromic film semi-product lies on said base, and said first bending member causes the electrochromic film semi-product to arch when moving toward said second bending member.

A forming apparatus for forming a flat electrochromic film semi-product into a curved electrochromic film, comprising:

• a first bending member;
• and
• a second bending member that is spaced apart from said first bending member so as to allow the electrochromic film semi-product to be disposed therebetween,
• wherein said second bending member is reciprocally movable toward and away from said first bending member along directions that are perpendicular to a direction in which the electrochromic film semi-product lies between said first and second bending members so as to bend and press the electrochromic film semi-product against said first bending member.
