Abstract
A method and a device for determining parameters of a rinsing process for a milking system, wherein a rinsing fluid circulates in a circuit to be rinsed in the rinsing process by filling a storage container with a fluid up to a predefined filling level; circulating the fluid from the storage container, via the circuit to be rinsed and back into the storage container; refilling the storage container during the circulation of the fluid up to the predefined filling level, determining a necessary fluid volume; and determining parameters of a subsequent rinsing process based on the determined fluid volume

A method for determining parameters of a rinsing process for a milking system, wherein, in the rinsing process, a rinsing liquid circulates in a circuit to be rinsed, the method comprising the steps of:
- filling a storage tank for rinsing liquid up to a predefined fill level with a liquid;
- circulating the liquid from the storage tank through the circuit to be rinsed and back into the storage tank;
- refilling the storage tank during the circulation of the liquid up to the predefined fill level;
- determining a liquid volume required for refilling the storage tank;
- and
- determining a parameter of a subsequent rinsing process on the basis of the determined liquid volume.
A device for determining a parameter of a rinsing process for a milking system, wherein, in the rinsing process, a rinsing liquid circulates in a circuit to be rinsed, and the device comprises a control device to perform the steps of:
- filling a storage tank for rinsing liquid up to a predefined fill level with a liquid;
- circulating the liquid from the storage tank through the circuit to be rinsed and back into the storage tank;
- refilling the storage tank during the circulation of the liquid up to the predefined fill level;
- determining a liquid volume required for refilling the storage tank;
- and
- determining a parameter of a subsequent rinsing process on the basis of the determined liquid volume.
