Abstract
The description relates to bridge truss systems. On example can include a steel truss that includes a top cord spaced away from a bottom cord and multiple web members secured between the top cord and the bottom cord. A deck can be positioned on the top cord of the steel truss.
Claims9
A bridge, comprising:
- a steel truss comprising a T-shaped top cord spaced away from an inverted T-shaped bottom cord and multiple tensioned diagonal web members bolted to the top cord and the bottom cord and multiple vertical web members interposed between the multiple tensioned diagonal web members and welded to the top cord and the bottom cord;
- and,
- a concrete deck integrated with the top cord of the steel truss.
A bridge, comprising:
- a steel truss comprising a top cord spaced away from a bottom cord and multiple web members secured between the top cord and the bottom cord;
- and,
- a deck positioned on the top cord of the steel truss.
A prefabricated bridge segment, comprising:
- a steel truss comprising tensioned diagonal web members and compressed vertical web members extending between a bottom cord and a top cord, the compressed vertical web members welded to the top and bottom cords and the tensioned diagonal web members bolted to the top and bottom cords;
- and,
- a concrete deck integrated with the top cord.
